What each part does

1

Hammered Brass Lid

Riveted brass lid with a cast brass knob that keeps heat and steam in.

2

Solid Brass Handle

Cast brass handle, riveted to the body. Also available with a rubber grip.

3

Hammered Copper Exterior

Hand-hammered and polished. Copper spreads heat quickly and evenly.

4

Stainless Steel Interior

Food-grade stainless steel cooking surface that does not react with food and is easy to clean.

Handles and base

Handles and induction base

Handles are cast in brass and riveted to the body. The base is made to work on induction cooktops.

Riveted handles

Handles are fixed to the body with stainless steel rivets.

Handles get hot

Brass carries heat, so handles warm up on the stove. Use a cloth or mitt when lifting a hot pan.

Works on induction

The base has a magnetic layer, so the pans work on induction cooktops as well as gas and electric stoves.
